Does this sound like herpes?

I found a vaginal bump, pretty deep inside. It itches like CRAZY, especially when I touch it, but it doesn't hurt at all... but it feels just like a hard bump, almost like a cyst. It also has a white head on it, and has gotten smaller from yesterday to today. Only one bump, no other bumps. I know it can also be a cyst or a boil, but would those cause itching?? I know I need to go to the gyno, but any experiences would be helpful!
