As a freshman is eyeliner and mascara too much makeup?

Im a freshman in highschool and wear make up the only makeup i wear is a thin layer of eyeliner and mascara to highlight my eyes. Is this too much makeup? Will guys think this is too much makeup? I don't want to give off the wrong image (fake) I mean I only wear eyeliner and mascara and it makes my eyes pop :) but is it too much?
