Why do i have trouble "getting wet"?

I am 18, female, and i can't "get wet". I recently just stopped talking antidepressants which my gyno said would help, but i still have trouble naturally lubricating during sexual activities and my partner will think they're not turning me on or are doing something wrong and its not too pleasuring for me either, it actually hurts really bad. I'm also on birth control but recently switched to a different type and lesser dosage which my gyno also said should help also. Until then, is there anything i can do besides getting lube? has anyone else experienced this or something similar to this? I'm not sure what to do, its very embarrassing and inconvenient, especially for something of my age.
